4. Peter Melbourne (Moycarkey Borris)
Despite Roscrea scoring a few later goals to put an undeserved, and positive gloss on the score line, the Moycarkey defence was largely superior, with Melbourne in fine form at full-back. He was very composed throughout the game and spread assuredness around the defence.
