Tipperary Museum of Hidden History is delighted to announce that their exhibition entitled Visual Emotion: A Survey of 40 Years of Photography, with renowned Clonmel photographer John D. Kelly will continue until October 26.

NEW IMAGES

John’s masterful collection, encapsulating four decades of photographic artistry will change over the course of its run.

Many new images will be seen on its state-of-the-art digital unit and a new interactive sporting room will be launched in the coming weeks.

The new addition to John’s glorious exhibition - Tipperary Museum are seeking stories relating to Johns photographs.

The museum will be sending out links & QR codes across its social media, asking their followers and visitors to write stories, nuggets of information and tell us about their lives based on John’s images.

This information will go directly to the museum and form an archive which will inspire the museum and John to expand on the oral history already collated.

MUST-SEE

This exhibition promises to be a must-see for both art enthusiasts and aficionados of photography alike.

With Kelly’s distinguished career spanning over four decades, Visual Emotion provides a rare opportunity to witness the evolution of his profession and the emotional depth imbued in each frame.

A unique catalogue (newspaper),  written  by Eamon Lacey and designed by  Kevin O’Donnell, to complement the exhibition is available at the reception area of the museum.
