8. Noel McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney)
Similar to Heffernan, McGrath dropped deep yet again to good effect for Loughmore Castleiney, particularly in the second half when the game was on the line. He had a shadow in Sam O'Farrell who had a good outing himself but there was no curbing McGrath's influence.
