Four Irish musicians are on the way to The Source Arts Centre in Thurles for an afternoon recital.
They will perform on Friday, November 22 at 2pm.
Tickets for the event cost €14 plus booking fees.
The Banbha Quartet was founded in 2020.
For their fifth tour for the National String Quartet Foundation, they present popular masterpieces by Beethoven and Schubert alongside a new work by Donegal fiddler turned renowned composer Seán Doherty.
Inspired by the mix of Irish and Polish musicians in the Banbha Quartet, Sean’s latest string quartet celebrates the Mazurka, originally a Polish folk dance, made famous by Chopin’s piano works and incorporated into the Donegal fiddle tradition.
