Moycarkey Coolcroo AC pay tribute to former club officer who passed away over Christmas

Helen O'Brien will be sadly missed and recently Moycarkey Coolcroo AC paid tribute to her memory.
A club statement read as follows: "Moycarkey Coolcroo AC were deeply saddened upon hearing of the recent passing of Helen O'Brien late of Noard, Two Mile Borris, RIP.
"Helen was an active committee member for our club in the 1990s and 2000s holding the positions of Treasurer & Assistant Secretary, daughter of the late Joe O'Brien who ran with Coolcroo in the 1950s Helen was a great supporter of our club and active in fundraising and selling tickets to raise money towards development.
"A guard of honor was held in memory of Helen on Friday December 20th Two Mile Borris by members of the Community including the Athletic club & The Tipperary Vintage club.
"Sincere Sympathies to Helen's Family, Neighbors & Friends of Ar dheis dé go raibh a h-anam dilís."
