Roscrea Trail Blazers have a packed 2025 ahead with several trips overseas and a lot of challenging walks over the coming months.
Due to the poor weather forecast last week the Thursday night walk was postponed.
The first club walk this month will be The Lough Boora Parkland Loop, this Thursday, January 16.
This is a flat, 9km walk and is classed as easy/moderate.
Meeting at The Lough Boora Parkland Trail Head at 7.30pm.
Please bring a head/hand torch and Hi Viz jacket.
They would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
Last Sunday, club members had a very enjoyable walk from Kilkenny, along the Nore River and finishing up in Bennettsbridge for a well-deserved cup of coffee at Nicholas Mosse Coffee shop.
