Six Tipperary venues have been named as ‘Knorr Recommended Roast 2024’ venues
The six restaurants are:
· Mulcahys, Clonmel
· Wheat Bar & Bistro, Talbot Hotel, Clonmel
· Templemore Arms Hotel, Templemore
· Carraig Hotel, Carrick-on-Suir
· Horse and Jockey
· Andy’s Gastropub, Nenagh

Each of the venues were recently mystery dined by independent experts who travel the length and breadth of the country, seeking out the tastiest roasts.
The recognition of being a ‘Knorr Recommended Roast 2025’ venue, each of the establishments demonstrated their dedication to producing delicious roast dishes and as such, have been awarded for the high standard food served to customers.
The six venues are the first of the year to be nominated and, given Tipperary’s reputation for great food, plenty more venues will be added to the exclusive list.
‘Knorr Recommended Roast’ acknowledges pubs and hotels across the country who are passionate about food and consistently produce the highest quality roasts and carvery dishes. Over the next few months, venues around the country were mystery dined to find the tastiest roast dishes with first class customer service and value for money.
Jim Reeves, Unilever Food Solutions’ Country Lead - Ireland said: “Knorr Recommended Roast is a programme we introduced last year, which acknowledges pubs and hotels across the country who are passionate about food and consistently produce the highest quality roasts and carvery dishes.

“Each of the venues in Tipperary has long-standing reputations for serving top notch roast and carvery dishes and are worthy of being acknowledged as ‘Knorr Recommended Roast’ venues”, said Reeves.
Last year saw over 120 venues awarded Knorr Recommended Roast venues. The digital map, which can be found at unileverfoodsolutions.ie/RecommendedRoast, allows customers locate Knorr Recommended Roast venues in their local area and throughout the country.
