Connolly’s namesake Alan continues to be a thorn in the Tipperary’s side as he caused consternation in the Premier defence throughout the first half.
Credit has to go to the Tipp full-back as he settled down well in the second half but the damage was well done by that point. He has had a positive league campaign and, hopefully, this outing won’t shake his confidence.
