Church road in busy Tipperary village begins badly needed upgrade works this week

The Square in Toomevara has received a much-needed upgrade, with the County Council recently improving the road surface outside the church in the village.

The project comes after years of local concerns about the condition of the road, which had been frequently raised by residents.

The work were carried out by the County Council Engineer and outdoor staff, marking a significant step in the area’s ongoing infrastructure improvements. This project is part of a broader roads programme aimed at enhancing road conditions across North Tipperary.

Local officials have promised that further improvements are on the way, with more work planned for the region in the coming months.
