Staff gathered this week to mark his retirement and recognise the impact of his long service. As he stepped away from Garda life, the staff gifted Ken a framed Garda College GAA jersey along with a framed caricature on the day.
Hogan began his service at Pearse Street Garda Station before moving to the College, where he became a well-known figure among trainees and staff alike.
Over the decades, he played a steady and supportive role in the background of Garda training, helping to shape the experience of thousands of new recruits.
Known for his consistency and quiet dedication, Ken earned the respect of many across the organisation. His contribution to the day-to-day running of the College made him a constant presence through years of change and new faces.
