Dallas legend Patrick Duffy and his wife Linda Purl are on a tour of all the Duffy's Pubs in Dublin, Galway, Donegal, Mayo and Tipperary.
Patrick's trip around Ireland brings him to the famous Jim O' The Mills in Upperchurch.
Patrick Duffy is famous worldwide as Bobby Ewing from Dallas. A third generation Irishman, he grew up in his parents’ bar in Montana and currently owns his own bar in Hollywood.
Always fascinated by the communities that develop around their local bar, Patrick has decided to return to Ireland, along with his partner, actress Linda Purl, to see for himself how Irish bars have evolved and changed as he journeys through his beloved country on his way home.
He visits as many pubs called Duffy’s as he can – and along the way he spends time in other bars meeting locals, hearing stories, absorbing history and figuring out how things have changed.
The documentary will be broadcast onSunday December 28 at 6.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
