Liam Cahill announces first senior team of 2026 ahead of clash with Waterford on Saturday

Liam Cahill has announced his first starting 15 of 2026 ahead of Saturday's Munster Hurling League opener against Waterford in Clonmel.

There are plenty of new faces across the 26-man panel for the game, with Conor Martin's inclusion at corner back the most eye-catching selection. 

Elsewhere, the selection of Paddy McCormack at corner forward has real potential while Josh Keller continues to be rewarded for his late club form and good performances in charity games pre-Christmas to be selected at midfield.

Tipp will conclude the group stage on January 11 against Kerry in Tralee.
