Tipperary senior hurlers return to competitive action in the National Hurling League on Saturday, and manager Liam Cahill has named a strong team for the visit of the westerners to Thurles.

There are two debutants in the starting team with Cathal O'Reilly named at corner back while Jack Leamy earns a starting place at corner forward.

Overall though, it is a strong team for this first round clash with ten of the All-Ireland starting team in place to welcome Micheal Donoghue's charges.
