The game between the age-old rivals will throw-in at FBD Semple Stadium at 4pm and will be the headline game in a double Munster Championship clash as Clare will host Waterford in Ennis at 2pm.

The Premier will be hoping to end the group campaign with a win and two points on Saturday to prepare for the championship in a month, but they also have an outside chance of reaching a league decider.

Both opening games in the 2026 Munster Senior Hurling Championship on Sunday will be broadcast live on RTÉ, but you can also follow the best of the action from the Thurles clash on the Tipperary Live liveblog.

Sean Stack of Dublin will be the man in the middle, while Liam Cahill and Ben O’Connor will name their respective teams later in the week and will be posted on the Tipperary Live website instantly.
