4. Craig Morgan (Kilruane MacDonaghs)
A blistering start the championship from Kilruane, in which they breezed through the group stages, was the biggest surprise of the early part of the Dan Breen competition. Much of the good performances were a team effort undoubtedly, but Morgan definitely shone brightly for MacDonaghs, dominating at half-back and his comfort and composure on the ball is plain to see. He will be pushing hard for a spot in Colm Bonnar's plans.
