9. Michael Ryan (Clonoulty Rossmore)
A tough group campaign that went down to the wire for Clonoulty, meant they needed a last day victory against Holycross to proceed to the quarter-finals, and Michael Ryan Winnie was a catalyst in that win. Clonoulty had some very mixed performances throughout the year, but Winnie was easily the best performer for them in the championship, and has definitely carried that form into the Miller Shield with West Tipperary.
