This August Bank Holiday, the North Tipperary Show will celebrate an extraordinary milestone, 150 years of showcasing the very best in rural life, agriculture, and community spirit.
To mark the occasion, organisers have announced a special gesture for early arrivals: the first 150 people through the gate on Monday, August 4th will receive free entry. It’s a fitting tribute to the generations of supporters who’ve helped shape one of the region’s most cherished events.
This year’s show will feature a wide range of activities and entertainment, including two special Fancy Dress classes, themed around fashion from any decade in the past 150 years:
Fancy Dress – Child
Fancy Dress – Adult

Expect everything from flapper dresses and Victorian elegance to 80s neon and 90s grunge as showgoers get creative to celebrate a century and a half of style.
Adding to the atmosphere, the Misneach Choir will be performing live on the day. The Nenagh-based community choir has built a reputation for uplifting performances at events like Darkness Into Light, and they’re currently working on an exciting new charity single, with more news expected soon.
In the lead-up to the event, the North Tipp Show Office has now reopened in its familiar home at the old Sheehan's building on Banba Square, Nenagh — the same location as last year.

Whether you're entering a class or just have a query, the team is on hand to help — and looking forward to welcoming both familiar faces and newcomers.
With a rich mix of competitions, live entertainment, fashion, family fun, and a deep sense of tradition, the 150th North Tipperary Show promises to be one of the most memorable yet.
