NEW: Cookbook launched in honour of Tipperary man murdered outside his own restaurant

The Kansas City Irish-American community recently produced a cookbook to remember Shaun and help support his family

The Nenagh Bookstore, 41 Pearse St., is selling a cookbook to remember Nenagh native Shaun Brady who was murdered last year outside his restraurant in Kansas City, Missouri.

Proceeds from the sale of “The Shaun Brady & Seamus Brady Cookbook” benefit Shaun’s wife and children.

The book features Shaun’s favorite recipes well as stories about his life in Ireland and the United States.

Shaun was a vital member of Kansas City’s Irish-American community, teaching cooking classes at the Kansas City Irish Fest and serving an Irish breakfast to hundreds of festival guests.

At this year’s festival, sales of the cookbook were so successful that the book is in a second printing.
