They spend a magical week together on the sea: Ríona, a total beginner whose mother can only afford one week, and Mealla, a skilled sailor with a family boat, but with hidden troubles at home and tensions with the trainers.
But not everyone welcomes their friendship.
Other campers begin targeting Mealla and soon, Ríona too.

As the waves grow rougher, danger comes not only from the sea but from those around them.
Together, the girls must face the storm and decide if what's growing between them is love, friendship, or something in between.
The novel is aimed at teenage readers, has been awarded the Oireachtas na Gaeilge Prize for Fiction for Young People (13-15), and signals a significant new voice in Irish-language young adult fiction.
The book costs €8.
