The Flynn O’Kane Academy in Nenagh is celebrating a wave of success after its dancers claimed a number of top titles at the Irish Dancing World Championship, which were held in Chicago on Friday April 3.
Among the winners were Mia Rose O’Kane, who was crowned Under-11 World Champion 2026 following a superb performance on the world stage, while Carrick girl Aoibhe Twomey continued her remarkable dominance by securing the Ladies 19–20 World Championship title for the third time.

Aoibhe and her team made up of Jade Ryan, Scott Ryan and Keelan Chute, also won the mixed four-hand competition in Chicago.
Keelan Chute, who delivered a standout performance to be crowned the Boys 15–16 World Champion 2026 and Lucie Pardy claimed her fourth World Championship title in the Girls 15–16 category.
