Nicole Drought says she is excited for the season

Tipperary racing driver Nicole Drought has announced her plans for the year and unveiled her 2025 race car.

She will return to the MSV Trackday Championship in the EBC Brakes Civic Type R.

This year, though, Nicole will drive the races solo, with team mate Justin Roberts taking a year off due to family commitments.

The car, which visited Ireland recently for a complete makeover from Precision Tint and Graphics in County Meath, will also be receiving a few new tweeks from Motion Motrorsport, who will also run the car for the season.

Nicole, from Roscrea, who as well as winning the overall UK title last year, won the Class B Championship and the Irish Open Clubman Rallycross Championship in 2024.

She will once again run with Motion Motorsport and the season starts on Saturday March 15 at Snetterton in Norfolk.

Nicole says "I'm excited about this season. We improved the car race by race in 2024 and we have a few changes ahead of the '25 season too.

"I can't wait to race with number 1 on the car. It looks fantastic and I can't thank Jay O'Reilly and the team at Precision Tint and Graphics enough. I really enjoyed driving alongside Justin last season and even though he is stepping away this year, he is still hugely supportive.

"Big thanks, as ever, to Siltex Safety, Gem Oils, Joe Mallon Motors and ITM Digital for their support".
