An organisation that is running a Christmas event for people with additional needs in Tipperary, is asking for people's help in making sure the night is a memorable one for those attending.

Ashling Delaney runs the 'Equal Vibes' event, which is an event especially for people with additional needs and their carers or families to attend.

Ashling made a call for help through the groups social media this week, asking for anyone famous in Tipperary to spare 10 minutes of their time to take a few photographs and shake a few hands on the day of the event.

"The power of social media, well we really need it," began Ashling.

"We are doing some super amazing Christmas parties in December. We are looking for a celebrity for each of our events. It will only be 10 minutes of your time.

"We do events for people with additional needs and their carers. We're just reaching out to see if there's anyone that can volunteer 10 minutes of their time for them. It would really mean the world to them," she explained.
