Football team in Offaly unveil plans to build two seated stands at grounds

A football club in Tipperary has unveiled plans to build two seated stands at its ground.

Moneygall Football Club intend to apply for permission from Offaly County Council for the development at its grounds at Elderberry Drive, Moneygall.

The development will consist of the install of two number seated stands. These will be in the form of recycled shipping containers.

The club was formed in 1978 and is affiliated to the North Tipperary District League and to the North Tipperary Schoolchildren’s League.  

They moved to their current ground in 2017 where a full-sized pitch has been developed and it has seen continual improvements over the last number of years
