Peake Villa AFC in Thurles has submitted a planning application to Tipperary County Council for a significant upgrade to its facilities at Bowling Green — with a decision expected by June 6.

The club is seeking permission to install 12 new 18-metre-high floodlight poles to serve two existing grass pitches. The proposed development also includes all associated site works to support the lighting upgrade.

The planning application is currently under review, and members of the public can view or comment on the proposal via the Tipperary County Council planning portal.
