Two great days at Tipperary Track and Field events for Clonmel AC juveniles

Medals galore won at Templemore event by promising young athletes

Two great days at Tipperary Track and Field events for Clonmel AC juveniles

Thumbs up from the Clonmel AC juveniles atthe Tipperary Track & Field Championships in Templemore

Our athletes headed to Templemore on Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12 for the first outing of the year for many. The crew in Templemore were wonderful, with their energy and enthusiasm to allow the athletes to enjoy the day, regardless of any minor issues that might crop up. We’re so grateful to all the volunteers who make it happen.

With great joy, our club members were thrilled to be donning the white and green to represent and their chants and claps kept many tired souls going through some hard races.

We really appreciate the parents coming together to support the athletes and the coaches who kindly made themselves available on both days. This is how the whole experience is enhanced, and Clonmel AC really appreciates it.

The below list, is of the athletes who competed, and while coming home with a medal is something you will cherish, the being part of the club vibe, and fellowship is the feeling you will keep with you, long after the medal is left aside.

Well done to all.

These young Clonmel AC girls had a great time at the recent county juvenile track and field championships at Templemore
