Some of the ladies who took part in the recent Ladies Evening Pitch and Putt at Hillview Sports Club, Clonmel.
A fantastic crowd enjoyed the Pitch and Putt on a lovely summer’s evening. Followed by a sumptuous meal once again provided by Eileen Condon and a session in the bar.
The winners on the night was the team of Pauline Lucey, Rena Landers, Theresa Foley; 2nd place Breda Howell, Ann Raher, Anna Long; 3rd place Ann Wall, Monica McCormack, Ermen Keating; 4th place Anne Fitzgerald, Evelyn Torrens, Phylis McCabe and 5th place Cait Mulcahy, Mary Moloney, Maureen Power. Thanks to all who supported.

Andy Doyle Trophy played on Sunday the 24th was won by Kyle Kennedy. Ladies runner up was Ann Wall, Ladies Gross Anne Fitzgerald and 3rd place ladies went to Veronica Anglim. Gents runner up was George Goodman, Gents Gross Paul Sweeney and 3rd place was Brendan Cronin. Thanks to all who played in extremely hot conditions and to Hillview Bingo for supporting the event. The Magner and Crowley Cups will be played for on Sunday 8th July.

Tennis
The tennis tournament circuit is in full flow at this time of year, last week Hillview players were playing in St Annes, Waterford and Carrigaline.
Declan Tarrant and Eugene O’Mahoney are going well on the circuit with two wins and two runners-up in Div. 2 over the past few weeks, they were runners up in Carrigaline and David Hannon was in St Anne’s and had a great semifinal win over Brian Reidy, Kilkenny but had to give best in the Division 1 Final against top rated Luke Maguire, Waterford.
