Stevie O'Donnell who will chair the discussion with the four former Tipperary Senior Hurling managers at Hayes Hotel, Thurles, on this Wednesday night.
What should be a most interesting “Night with Tipp Hurling Managers” will go ahead on this Wednesday night, 11th July (7.30 pm) in the Davin Room at Hayes’ Hotel, Thurles, when four former Tipperary senior hurling managers will come together for what promises to be a lively discussion.
The evening will consist of a panel interacting with guests discussing their time as Tipperary manager, recalling old stories and offering their views on the future of the GAA in our county.
With experience as both players and managers going back over many decades, all four former managers will have great stories to regale and no doubt will have plenty of opinions to put out on the current state of the game of hurling nationwide and particularly in the Premier County.
In light of Tipperary’s early exit from this year’s senior championship, and perhaps with views on the new hurling format itself, the opinions of all four will be eagerly anticipated.
The former managers that have confirmed are
Micheal ‘Babs’ Keating
Fr. Tom Fogarty
The event will be chaired by Stevie O'Donnell, Sports Correspondent at Tipperary Mid West Radio.
This event is run as part of The Thurles Sports Festival, your presence on the night would be appreciated.
For all hurling fans this is a real treat and an opportunity to put your own opinions to some of the great “thinkers” and minds all synonymous with Tipperary hurling over many many years.
