Beloved cleaner Anne Mulhall was given an appropriate send-off from Templemore Garda College this week as she prepares to begin retired life.
The Garda College Facebook page posted the following heartfelt and humorous message for Anne:
"After years of patrolling the halls and terrorising dust (and staff!), Anne Mulhall is officially retiring from the Garda College!
The woman, the myth, the mop-wielding menace who blasted Daniel O’Donnell through the halls like it was nightclub hour at 7am, has finally left the building!
From the mad chats and her love of Wee Daniel, to the imparting of her bold "words of wisdom" to Trainees and course attendants (the kind that would make a sailor blush) - Anne's been the loudest legend to ever swing a cloth and we know the place won’t be the same without her.
Enjoy every minute of your Retirement Anne and thank you for keeping the place spotless, our spirits high, and our blushes constant!!"
