Travel Counsellors Ireland, the premium leisure and corporate travel specialists, is celebrating 20 years in business, a milestone that reflects two decades of transforming how Irish travellers book their holidays and how travel professionals build their careers. Tipperary Travel Counsellors, Rosemary Chawke from Clonmel and Catherine Maguire from Thurles are also celebrating 20 years in business.

Established in 2005, Travel Counsellors Ireland has grown into a network of more than 80 independent business owners nationwide. They are part of a global community of almost 2,500 Travel Counsellors across six countries.

Operating from its headquarters in Mahon, Cork, the company has become known for bespoke leisure itineraries, trusted corporate travel management and world-class personal service.

Over the last two decades, Travel Counsellors Ireland has helped thousands of customers plan tailor-made holidays, honeymoons and complex business trips, while giving experienced travel agents and career-changers the chance to run their own businesses with the support of cutting-edge technology, marketing resources and 24/7 duty-of-care services, creating one of Ireland’s most trusted and flexible travel career opportunities.

Cathy Burke, Managing Director of Travel Counsellors Ireland, who also marks 20 years leading the company, said: “Celebrating 20 years is both a proud and personal milestone for me and for our entire team. When we launched in 2005, our goal was to empower travel professionals to build independent, flexible, profitable businesses while delivering the highest standard of service to customers.

“Two decades later, that mission is stronger than ever. For anyone passionate about travel, it really is the best job in travel in Ireland. We’re proud of the relationships our Travel Counsellors have built with their clients, and of how many have been with us since day one. As we look ahead, our focus is on growing our community further, supporting both leisure and corporate clients, and continuing to lead the way in personalised travel experiences.”
