This year’s festival, which is kindly supported by Tipperary County Council, welcomes back over 30 traders to a bustling Christmas market.
Local crafters, artists and food producers will be offering a huge range of unique gifts, homemade treats, and festive crafts—perfect for ticking off your Christmas shopping list.
Younger visitors will be delighted by the enchanting live crib, bringing the nativity story to life and adding a traditional touch to the celebrations.
Santa will also be on hand with treats for all his visitors.
One of the festival’s highlights is the spectacular Truck and Tractor Christmas Light Run.
This dazzling procession of decorated vehicles will make its way from Clonoulty through Boherlahan and onto Cashel, lighting up the winter night and spreading the festive cheer across the community. All types of vehicles are welcome to take part.
Registration will open at 4pm with the first vehicles departing on the run at 5pm.
This year, Shane MacLaughlin, known as “The Blade of Glory”, will attempt to pull a fully loaded truck up the road in Clonoulty village.
Shane is an amputee who has an incredible record of being a three times Guinness World Record Breaker.
He will take on the challenge of pulling, under his own strength, an incredible load of almost 70 tons.
Come along to witness this extraordinary feat of strength and community spirit.
Beyond the festivities, the heart of the event is its dedication to supporting local charities.
Every euro raised will go directly to causes making a real difference in the community.
