Funeral arrangements announced for young Holycross based man killed in Tipperary crash

RIP: The late Gediminas Urbonas from 1 Abbey Court, Holycross

The funeral of 21-year-old Gediminas Urbonas from Holycross, one of two young men tragically killed in an horrific four-vehicle collision at Ballinunty on Saturday, will take place this Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. 

The remains of the young man from I Abbey Court, Holycross, Thurles will repose at Kennedy's Funeral Home at Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holycross Abbey on Thursday at 11.30am followed by a private cremation service in Kennedy's Funeral Home. 

Gediminas Urbonas was known to family and friends as Ged and is survived by his parents Jolanta and Saulius, sister Saulena, aunt Zaneta, cousin Ridas, other members of his loving family and a wide circle of friends. 

The funeral of his 18-year-old friend, David Lahart from Castlequarter, Killenaule, who was killed in the same traffic collision, will take place in Killenaule on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
