Funeral arrangements have been announced for 18-year-old David Lahart from Killenaule, one of the two young men tragically killed in a traffic accident involving four vehicles at Ballinunty at the weekend

Mr Lahart from No. 7 Castlequarter, Killenaule and 21-year-old Gediminas Urbonas from Holycross both died in the horrific collision that occurred on a local road at Killeen, Ballinunty shortly before 6pm on Saturday, December 13. They were occupants of the same car.

RIP.ie has announced that Mr Lahart's remains will repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home in Killenaule this Tuesday evening, December 16 from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary's Church, Killenaule on Wednesday at 11.30pm followed by burial at Crosscannon Cemetery.

David is survived by his heartbroken parents Ashling and Paudie, siblings Megan, Rachel, Alex, Amber and Leah, his special nephew Jayden, stepmom Jacinta, loving grandparents Ned and Christine, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
