On February 12, the Public Relations Institute of Ireland announced the conferring of Fellowship on Martina Quinn, Founder & CEO of Alice Public Relations and a proud native of Rossestown, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
Martina is the daughter of Mae and Michael Quinn.
The Fellowship was awarded at a special Fellows Reception held today at the Irish Architectural Archives, Dublin, where five distinguished communications professionals were recognised for their outstanding leadership and contribution to the public relations profession in Ireland.
A National Leader in Advocacy and Strategic Communications, Martina is widely respected across Ireland’s communications sector for her leadership, strategic insight, and longstanding commitment to social change.
She founded Alice Public Relations, an award‑winning agency known for its work on campaigns related to gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, anti‑racism, reproductive rights, and climate action.
In 2023, she further strengthened the agency’s societal impact by establishing the Alice Academy for Activists, a unique initiative that equips activists and community organisations with practical communication and advocacy skills.
A PRII member for almost 20 years, Martina has played an important role in shaping the strategic direction of the communications profession in Ireland.
She has chaired PRCA Ireland, and she currently sits on the boards of both the International Communications Consultancy Organisation and Women’s Aid.
Her Fellowship recognises not only her professional excellence but also her commitment to elevating the role of communications in social progress and public discourse.
