Cabragh Wetlands will receive €22,910 in funding
An allocation of €22,290 has been awarded to Cabragh Wetlands, a locally treasured area just outside Thurles, that provides a sanctuary for a vast collection of plant and animal species.
The protection and ongoing restoration of this area of natural beauty are of huge importance to local people, who work tirelessly to ensure the preservation of this beautiful natural habitat.
This funding has been allocated under the Peatlands and Natura Community Engagement Scheme for the Practical Responses to Climate Change.
