Owners of properties in Tipperary Town, Cahir and Cashel are being encouraged to give their properties a lick of paint as the spring sets in with the Painting Enhancement Scheme for 2025.

Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District has announced that applications for the scheme are now open, with a maximum of €500 available to owners of properties for painting and general improvement to residential and commercial properties.

The grants aim to enhance the streetscape and general public realm of the three towns, as well as supporting owners of properties in the primary retail areas.

Applications for the scheme are open until 12 noon on May 9, but Tipperary County Council has warned that submission of an application does not guarantee that funding will be allocated.
