Tipperary is represented at the protest march to highlight the housing crisis

Tipperary Tipperary Town was represented in  Cork City at a housing protest over the weekend.

Trade Unions, tenants unions, homeless support groups, political parties and advocacy groups came together under the banner of the Raise the Roof Campaign to demand real action from FF FG on the  housing emergency.

Tipperary Sinn Fein members were proud to attend with people from all over Munster to March for real change in housing policy.

Joe Kelly of the Cork Council of Trade Unions said it was great to see people coming out in force to demand that there is a change to the housing policy of the Government.

"People are very angry. We have workers on all sides of the economy and they are just priced out of housing. People have good jobs and they still can't a roof over their head," he said.
