BREAKING: Lidl supermarket in Tipperary damaged during Storm Éowyn

Storm Éowyn ripped through Tipperary on Friday leave thousands without power and felling hundreds of trees

A Lidl supermarket in Tipperary was damaged during Storm Éowyn on Friday. 

Cllr David Dunne said: "Glad to report that Carrick town centre is reopening for business after the storm. Thankfully not much damage to report. A tree down on Cregg Road is been cleared by the council as I post this.

"Lidl shop has been damaged and looks like it might not reopen for a few more hours. Just a word of caution please be vigilant if our driving."
