A Status Orange snow and ice warning for the Premier County is in effect until 8pm on Sunday night and emergency services in Tipperary are advising people not to travel on the roads.
Bingo has been cancelled in many towns and villages and there are reports of several accidents and vehicles getting stuck due to impassable roads. Thousands are also without power with more snowfall expected throughout the day.

Snow bomb. Ah come on!

Why only a orange weather warning...Means businesses are to open...Red warning they close...Don't think anyone should be risking being out in this
On the Presentation Ballingarry school closure on Monday: Well ballingarry is up very high so they would be worse and it's very bad road uphill to travel
We have snow here in Drangan
It's here for how long is anyone's guess
OMG! It's the end, go out and empty the shelves, stock up
Loved to be back in Tipp for the snow
Great memories
