Motorists are asked to cancel all plans of travelling on Sunday as the roads are "extremely dangerous due to the heavy snowfall and icy conditions", that's the message from the emergency services in Tipperary Town.

Stevie O'Donnell of Tipperary MidWest Radio reports that "several vehicles are struggling to stay on the roads and it's not safe to drive" and the message from the emergency services is "stay at home".

Tipperary is buried in snow this Sunday morning with power outages and roads impassable right across the Premier County.
