The Source in Thurles.
A legendary Irish singer can announced that they will soon play a gig in Tipperary this April.
Irish singer Mary Coughlan, widely regarded as Ireland’s greatest jazz and blues singer, is set to perform a headline show this April 18 at The Source Arts Centre.
Coming off a string of sold-out performances, including a highly acclaimed show at the Galway International Arts Festival, Coughlan brings her raw, soulful voice and fearless honesty to Thurles.

With a career spanning over four decades, she continues to captivate audiences with her unique blend of "whisky-blurred, smoke-seared" notes and the sardonic wit reminiscent of icons like Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf.
This performance follows the success of her latest album, Repeat Rewind (2024), which was named Album of the Year by RTÉ’s John Creedon and ranked among the Top 5 Jazz Albums of the Year by The Irish Times.
Fans can expect an evening that dissects "adult disappointments" with a voice that remains, at 69, "rich, authentic, and very much her own".
