General Liam Lynch
The 95th General Liam Lynch Memorial Mass will take place in Newcastle Church this Sunday, 8th April 2018.
The schedule of events will be as follows, 12 noon: Rising of the Tri-colour at Tigh na nDaoine, Community House, proceed to Newcastle Church for 12.30pm Mass celebrated by Fr. Gareth Desmond, PP.
This will be followed by refreshments in the Community Hall where the Oration will be delivered by Dr. Martin Mansergh.
Dr Mansergh previously delivered the Oration in 1998 a week after the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in Belfast.
As a senior adviser to successive Taoisigh, Dr Mansergh played a key role in the Northern Ireland peace process.
The Chairman, Deputy Mattie McGrath, and the organising committee look forward to seeing you on the day.
