Toastmasters

The next meeting of Cashel Toastmasters takes place this Thursday, October 4, at 8pm in Gleesons Bar, Ladyswell Street. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free to new guests.

Amnesty International

The Cashel branch of Amnesty International are holding their monthly meeting in Mikey Ryan’s Pub, Main Street, on Monday next, October 8, at 8.30 pm.

All are welcome.

Public Meeting

Deputy Mattie McGrath will hold a public meeting in relation to the “Governments proposed changes to sick pay arrangements” on Friday, October 12, at 8pm, in Cahir House Hotel.

Guest speakers include Mark Fielding, Chief Executive ISME (Irish Small Medium Enterprises Association) and Senator Mary Ann O’Brien, entrepreneur and chairperson of Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates.

Halla na Feile

A Social Tea Dance will be held in Halla na Feile on Friday, October 12, with music by the very popular Declan Aungier. Dancing is from 9pm to midnight, teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is 8. We look forward to seeing you and promise you a very enjoyable night’s dancing.

Dance Class

Social Dancing Classes in Halla na Feile continue to be very enjoyable and are held on Tuesday evenings from 8.30pm to 10.45pm. Beginners are catered for in an area to the side of the dance floor. An extra half-hour is added on for those who like ‘ballroom’ and all for €5. Dance to keep fit this Autumn.

Spafield Family Resource Centre

A Wellbeing Morning takes place in Spafield Family Resource Centre on Friday, October 5, from 10.30am to 12.30pm as part of Positive Ageing Week. Refreshments will be served, all are welcome.
