After navigating gates, a lot of muck, cattle, rivers and a whole load of frog spawn the walker was located
The South Eastern Mountain Rescue received a call from An Garda Síochána just before 10pm on Saturday night for a walker who got lost in darkness and ended up in very rough and overgrown terrain.
The team and Search and Rescue Dog Association (Ireland) with Search Dog Ziggy with handler Mick and Search Dog Rosie with handler Helen responded to the Mahon Falls area to start making their way towards the walkers location.

In a statement on Facebook, SEMRA said: "After navigating gates, a lot of muck, cattle, rivers and a whole load of frog spawn the walker was located and brought safely back to their car. Stand down issued just after midnight, everyone safely off the hill.
"No frogspawn was harmed in this rescue!"
