South Eastern Mountain Rescue dealt with two call-outs over the weekend.
The first was on Saturday at 7:05pm when a call came from An Garda Síochána for a walker in Glengarra woods who had lost their way.
The walker was found shortly after by a patrol car as the team were responding. And then on Sunday evening at 4:56pm another call from gardaí for a lost walker in the Galtees.

Although there is a bit of a stretch in the evening darkness fell quickly and thick fog descended on Galtee Mor.
The walker unsure of their position called did the right thing and called for help.
Team members responded to the Black Road trail head and were transported up to the cairn in the team Land Rovers.
Team members set out on foot from there to the walker's location, conditions underfoot were quite slippy and icy and the dense fog made navigation difficult.

Team members found the walker at 19:04 and after a quick assessment to make sure they were okay to walk, made their way back to the waiting team vehicles.
The walker was driven down the Black Road and transported back to their car. Stand down issued at 20:27, all team members safely off the hill.
