Clogheen Community Council in South Tipperary, has announced that it will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 29th September at 7:30pm in St. Paul’s Community Hall.
The AGM will provide residents with an opportunity to reflect on the council’s work over the past year, while also looking ahead to future plans and projects. A new committee will be elected on the night.
While the election of officers is an important part of the evening, the council is eager to stress that attendance at the AGM does not mean people are obliged to join the committee. Instead, the meeting offers a chance for all members of the community to share their views and ideas.
The council has also extended an open invitation to volunteers who may be interested in helping with community events and initiatives throughout the year, even on a casual basis.

“Community involvement is at the heart of what we do,” a council spokesperson said. “Whether it’s joining the committee or lending a hand from time to time, every contribution makes a difference.”
Local residents are encouraged to attend, and those who know someone who might like to get involved are asked to spread the word.
