McGrath was almost lost for words as he joined RTÉ for his post-match thoughts but gave a fantastic and thoughtful overview of what it was like to be a player on the winning team today.

"We're in an All-Ireland final, you have to just f***ing go in - sorry - you have to just go in and talk about it and enjoy it."

In his excitement in sharing his pride at the skill of his teammates he let slip an F-bomb on live TV, quickly apologising and continuing to share his thoughts without missing a beat.

What a legend!
