Thurles CBS Harty Cup bainesteoir Eamon Buckley was thrilled to beat a star studded St Flannan's College at Meelick in the Harty Cup quarter final.
The Cathedral town school relied on Cormac Fitzpatrick (1-10) and Robbie Ryan (0-5) for the bulk of the scoring today and both youngsters came up trumps in flying colours as Thurles won out 2-21 to 1-17 in the end.
After the game Stephen Gleeson spoke with Eamon Buckley and got his thoughts on the game against St Flannan's College and their plans over the coming days as the CBS march on to a semi-final against Ard Scoil Rís on Saturday week.
