Taste of Nenagh is back this weekend

Taste of Nenagh takes place this Saturday, 5 September 2026, bringing the streets of Nenagh to life with an afternoon celebrating local food, artisan producers, live entertainment and community spirit. The event runs from 12 noon to 4pm in Nenagh town centre and is organised by the Nenagh & District Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors can explore participating cafés, restaurants, food producers and local businesses around the town, sampling a variety of delicious food and drink. The event is designed as a fun, informal way to discover the town's food scene while supporting local businesses.

A booklet of four tasting tickets costs €10, with individual tickets costing €2.50. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Sherry Fitzgerald Talbot, Solemates or Chartered Capital on Kenyon Street, or on the day at the Bank of Ireland corner. The event itself is free to attend; tickets are used to exchange for tastings from participating producers.

There will also be plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon. The Nenagh Busking Competition will run from 12:30pm to 3:30pm with a €500 prize fund, supported by Nenagh Credit Union up for grabs and the winner announced at 4pm.

With food, music, street entertainment and activities spread around the town centre, Taste of Nenagh offers a great family-friendly way to spend Saturday afternoon while enjoying and supporting the best of local Nenagh talent and produce.
