Great National Ballykisteen Hotel has been nominated in six categories at the YesChef Awards

A County Tipperary hotel has been across a number of categories at a prestigious awards ceremony.

The Great National Ballykisteen Hotel in Limerick Junction, just outside Tipperary Town has been shortlisted in six categories at the YesChef Awards.

The local hotel was shortlisted in the Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year, Front of House Team of the Year, and Hotel Restaurant of the Year.

Their chef Billy Butler was shortlisted in the Chef of the Year category, while the restaurant was also nominated for Hotel Restaurant of the Year.

The hotel was also shortlisted in the Social Media Award of the Year.

In a post on social media, the hotel paid tribute to their staff for their hard work that saw the hotel get nominated across so many categories.

"A huge thank you to our amazing team whose hard work and passion have made this possible, this is a massive testament to the effort that is put in everyday," the hotel said.

The YesChef Awards for 2025 will take place on April 29 at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Sligo.
