While the first half shooting would have left him and Tipperary supporters frustrated, he came alive in the second half and played a big part in the revival.
He dropped deep to gather so much possession, set up attacks, and score, while his shot for the first John McGrath goal proved to be a huge moment.
Late on, he was back blocking goal bound shots and clearing possession, and his overall leadership this year has been massive for Tipp.
